Recently I came across a moving article on a New York photographer named Jamie Livingston. In 1979 he was given a Polaroid camera and went on to take a photo a day through illness and marriage, until the day he passed away of cancer on October 1997.
Highly recommended is the website put together by his long term friend Hugh Crawford. A personal collection of 6,697 Polaroids, that stir up a wide array of feelings and emotions.
