Last month, out-takes from a shoot that Japanese contemporary artist Nobuyoshi Araki and Lady Gaga did for Vogue Nippon in 2009 emerged. The Polaroids are in the usual Araki signature style with Gaga baring all and displaying a famous technique, kinbaku (the art of rope tying). See the paint splattered final version in the September 2011 issue of Vogue Hommes Japan.
A lot of people talk about her "artifice", but I actually see a hell of a lot more honesty and integrity with Lady Gaga. There's a tremendous sweetness about her too... I really don;t think that she's the flash in the pan that the detractors claim. I highly suspect that they'll be eating their words in years to come!
