Mary Ellen Mark (born March 20, 1940). American photographer known for her photojournalism, portraiture, advertising photography and set photography on legendary productions like Apocalypse Now. She is currently residing in New York City, New York.
This beautiful portrait of Alice as played by Mia Wasikowska was one many studio shots taken by Mary Ellen Mark on her large format 20x24 Polaroid camera. The studio shots were part of a set for Vanity Fair magazine used to promote Tim Burton's 2010 feature film, Disney's Alice in Wonderland.
