Captured by MTV's resident EMA 2012 photographer, Robin Mellor, here he presents a series of exclusive Polaroid portraits taken backstage at the award ceremony in Frankfurt on 11 November 2012. Taylor Swift and Carly Rae Jepson are just a few of the superstars that allowed Mellor to re-interpret them in his own unique personal style. Robin Mellor is a young and vibrant London based portrait and advertising photographer. His images are described as 'honest' and 'authentic' and have appeared in many popular publications including Wonderland, Tank, The Guardian, The Independent and Esquire amongst others. He also has worked with big brands such as Virgin, Channel 4, MTV and Eurostar. Robin is currently working toward his second solo show and first book release. Check out more of his work here.
