I love it when you accidentally stumble across something very inspirational when doing a random internet search! These beautiful wistful Polaroid scenes caught my eye and are the work of Jon Nicholson. The official behind-the-scenes photographer for last summers Olympic Games is best known for his Formula One racing coverage. He spent 18 months documenting seaside resorts across the country with a 1970s Polaroid camera and snapped up the last of Britain's 100 boxes of SX-70 Artistic Z Film. For Nicholson, the three years out of date film was perfect to record the British seaside with it's hued quality, which successfully evokes childhood memories by the sea.
