Wire had the huge and if not impossible task of editing down from over 1,000 of his personal Polaroids. Over the past two decades The Manic Street Preachers have always maintained a strong visual approach to their sleeve artworks. Bassist Nicky Wire has never hid his love for the Polaroid. His collection of Polaroids for the 'This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours' were all used in the high profile album campaign.

Their tenth studio album 'Postcards From A Young Man' artwork features a black and white photograph of 'Reservoir Dogs' actor Tim Roth half naked holding a Polaroid camera.

Nicky Wire commented "The fact he's got a huge Polaroid camera is what gets me because I'm a huge fan."
